It’s hard to believe another week has flown by, bringing us to Sunday once more. Time seems to accelerate with each passing day, perhaps a sign that life is gradually returning to a more familiar, bustling rhythm. This week, despite a significant household challenge, I found myself achieving quite a bit, which proved to be a welcome distraction. My mind needed to stay engaged, primarily to divert attention from the rather inconvenient reality of our broken water heater. We’ve been without hot water for nearly two weeks now, an experience that truly underscores the luxuries we often take for granted. The initial replacement was scheduled, but a mix-up with the order – a gas heater delivered instead of the electric one we need, and in a specialized size that isn’t readily available – means our chilly showers are set to continue a little longer. While these are certainly “first-world problems,” the simple pleasure of a warm shower has never felt so distant! Hopefully, by next week, the correct unit will arrive, and our plumber can restore comfort to our home. Until then, it’s all about making the most of every moment, even the bracing ones!
