Supplies You’ll Need:

• Drapery Panels or Fabric Yardage: Choose a fabric that is durable, washable, and large enough to completely wrap around your cushion with extra for overlap and securing. Old curtains are perfect for repurposing due to their generous size and often attractive patterns.
• Large Safety Pins: These are your secret weapon for a secure and invisible finish. Opt for heavy-duty pins for better hold. I easily found mine at the dollar store, proving that quality DIY doesn’t have to be expensive.

The No-Sew Process:

Step 1: Prepare and Position Your Fabric

Begin by laying your chosen drape or fabric yardage right side down on a clean, flat surface. Ensure the fabric is smoothed out and free of wrinkles. Carefully center your cushion on top of the fabric. You want to make sure you have ample fabric on all sides to wrap comfortably around the cushion.

Step 2: Wrap and Secure the Main Body

Imagine you’re wrapping a giant gift. Take one long side of the fabric and pull it tautly over the cushion, folding it underneath. Repeat with the opposite long side, overlapping the fabric in the center on the underside of the cushion. This is where your large safety pins come in. Place them horizontally into the overlapped fabric, ensuring you catch a small bit of the cushion’s existing fabric (if applicable) or the cushion itself, to hold it securely. Close the pin.
