Style Scouting Vol. 292: Trend Report & Outfit Ideas

Welcome to this week’s Style Scouting, my Sunday roundup where I share the things that caught my eye or inspired me online.

This past week Ed and I escaped for a relaxing stay in Hilton Head. It’s about a three-hour drive from home, and we try to go every May when the weather is mild and the crowds haven’t arrived.

One of our favorite activities—aside from lounging on the beach with a book and watching the ocean—is biking along the shore in the mornings. We timed this trip well: low tide in the mornings made the beach wide and perfect for riding.

When we lived in Pennsylvania we biked almost every weekend during the warmer months, and we even prioritized cycling when visiting cities like Paris. Now that we live near the lake, long continuous trails are limited, so the chance to pedal on the sand each spring is something we really look forward to.

Returning home, I already miss those early rides. Back here, I’m tackling a few finishing touches on the deck refinishing project that’s kept me busy lately.

I hope your week is off to a good start. Below are the links and finds I saved for you this week.
