Each choice was carefully considered to maximize impact while adhering strictly to our financial limits, proving that stunning home improvements don’t always require a hefty investment.
One of the most defining and budget-savvy decisions for this powder room makeover involved repurposing a cherished family heirloom: my grandmother’s sideboard. This beautiful piece had a history with us, serving previously as a desk in my kitchen at our old house. However, in our new home, it struggled to find a fitting place and ended up being temporarily stored against a wall in our bedroom, gathering dust. This allowed us to install new wall sconces at a more appropriate and visually pleasing height than their predecessors.
